Rosemarie Lally, JD
R osemarie, a lawyer and freelance writer working with ORCHSE Strategies, LLC, writes the biweekly OSH newsletter as well as email alerts on breaking news. She contributes to marketing materials and serves as an editorial resource for the group.
Prior to launching Lally Communications and beginning her work with ORCHSE in 2014, Rosemarie was employed by Mercer’s Washington Resource Group as managing editor for global content. In that position, she was responsible for WRG’s global electronic news products and website, covering health and benefits, executive compensation, talent, and retirement issues. Rosemarie earlier served as executive editor for HR and employment law at Thompson Publishing Group, where she led a staff of reporters and editors in producing 13 compliance publications covering employment law, human resources, and education funding. During her time at Thompson, she co-authored a book, Investigating Sexual Harassment: A Practical Guide to Resolving Complaints, and developed a number of new legal compliance publications. Rosemarie started her career in journalism as a reporter for BNA’s Occupational Safety and Health Reporter and happily has now come full circle in writing about workplace safety and health for ORCHSE.
Rosemarie obtained her B.A. degree in English literature from the University of Scranton and her J.D. degree from the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar.
